I am Nicolene Janse van Vuuren….. The Optometrist. I matriculated in 1989 at Hoërskool Noordheuwel.
In 1990 I started my studies to become a qualified Optometrist at University of Johannesburg. I Qualified in 1993 and started working as an optometrist. In march 1998 I received the certificate for the successful completion of : Foreign Body Removal, Punctual Irrigation and Punctual Occlusion from the Graduate Institute of Optometry.
I furthered my studies at the New England College of Optometry and Qualified in the Advance study in Ocular Disease and Pharmaceutical Application and was awarded my qualification on 31 Jan 2000. In 2009 I attained a certificate for the Advance Study in Contact Lenses Related Ocular Physiology and Anterior Segment Disease by The Graduate Institute of Optometry in collaboration with the New England College of Optometry.
I am a director of Iso Leso.
After working in different optometric practices and gaining experience I decided it was time to open my own business. My own practice was founded and registered on 01 Aug 2003 in Florida Park.
During 2008 I bought the property where my practice is situated today and 1 June 2008 we opened our doors in Horison x 1.
